Alex Hart Ciaramitaro

23 years old, based out of Nashville, born and raised. I love adventure, travel, and connecting with people. What better way to bring all of those things together then through photography & social media?

My whole life I have held a camera, I remember my first one; 1997 Nickelodeon PhotoBlaster 35mm. It was nothing serious, ha ha. I would just carry it with me to elementary school and wait till recess to take pictures. They were mostly blurry pictures of my friends and bugs.

Fast forward a couple years, the moment I started playing with my dad’s camera (Canon 60D) in high school, I knew it was something I would enjoy forever. My junior and senior year I joined the theatre arts class only because they did music videos for the final project. I enjoyed being behind the camera more than in front of it, not much of an actor. I had so much fun filming and editing, my acting skills didn't matter to me.

After I had graduated high school in 2012 it was great, I had more time on my hands and more time to hang with friends. I had always been told that you would lose your friends after high school, not in the sense that we would not be friends anymore but that things would just be different. I always just blew it off and told myself that I don't believe it, turns out its true. Eventually all my friends became busy with work, created families, or simply just moved away. For a while it seemed liked I didn't have friends anymore. This is the reason I became more serious with photography.

January 2014, I saw Instagram post about their famous Worldwide InstaMeets and I was dying to go! I searched and searched, scrolling through hashtags and accounts. No luck, I couldn't find anyone hosting an InstaMeet nearby. Then I just decided well I'll just host my own. I had 8 people show up to my first InstaMeet, on a Sunday in Downtown Franklin at 7:00PM. It is one day I will remember forever. After that numerous people continued asking me when I was going to have another meetup. I thought well I guess I can host another one, from then on I was hooked! Since then I have become a Suggested User on Instagram and typically have 50-70 people come to the InstaMeets I host.

Being able to capture a moment forever, to see a place from a different angle and pair of eyes is amazing. Between breaking out in various songs, forming group dinners, and trying to open every door along the path, I started hosting InstaMeets to meet new people and share my love for photography. Each month a new city, new people, new places to uncover and memories to make. Now I am surrounded by great and imaginative individuals. There’s about 15-20 of us that are so close and have formed a close bond. Any extra time I have, I love to spend it with them.

So contact me if you want to book a photo session, explore a new place, join a future InstaMeet, or simply need a new friend. I would love to meet you!

Have fun,
